Why do they call it Christmas "Eve"? Is there also a Christmas Adam??

OK, but please this is all in good humour I don't want to offend, if Adam & Eve had two sons & in theory we all were created from that union of the original two. I can see at least three commandments that have been disrespected ?

It depends on your point of view. Those who believe that version of history will say that God created Adam and Eve as perfects, their genes would have been perfect and there was nothing "wrong" in such unions.

It was only in the time of Moses when it was decreed that interbreeding close relatives was forbidden.

Men make the rules and laws to suit themselves.. if the bible is true then why arnt the muslems and Indians taking Xmas of then..

I presume because like me they do not follow the Christian teaching, I if anything follow the old religion of paganism,which most religions descend from & take from.

I don't think too much store should be set in the 10 commandments, they do have a few flaws.

Looks like an admission that there were other gods who could have been rivals, difficult to be jealous of things that don't exist or are of no consequence.

Yes Tommy, all the commandments are being broken in one way or another, as you say to suit man & to curry favour with a changing world. In my mind that's a good thing in someways!

Some nutcase said that the storms we are having is the start of the end of the world as said in the bible.. men changed the bible to suit themselves.. do you remember when people eat people, they didnt need to bury you they eat you..look at the other nutters who wont give their blood to save a dieing child because god dosent like it.

It could well be that the story of Adam and Eve has nothing to do with the creation story, it was simply put at the start of the Bible by the compilers at a much later date.
