What about a sentence that would deter these acid attacks?

Mary Konye, threw acid over her friend Naomi, last year.  She must have known that it could have been fatal, or highly likely to blind her. As it is  she certainly has inflicted a life time of torment on Naomi. 

She has been given 12 years, but with good behaviour should get out in about 6 years.

Not long enough IMO it should have been at least a minimum of 25 years, if they wont give her life. I would. 

Remembering Katie Piper too, who was attacked for a similar reason, I don't care if they hang these unbelievably wicked devils.   More than a thousand women were acid attacked in Pakistan last year, and that's only those that were reported. Acid attacks on men are very rarely heard of.........
