Unusual Buyer Request!

Hello All,

Just sold an item and received this message to which I have replied. I am not happy about this deal is it withinn ebay policies?, but would like some opinions.

Message from buyer as follows:- Hello, we just won a bid for the item and we have a favor to ask you. Can you please make sure the shipping package has the eBay item numbers on it?

For those of you who are going to separate an item into more than one box, it would be much appreciated if you numbered the packages. (e.g 1/2 2/2) Also, if we need to specify the size, color or any information for the item to be shipped out, please remind us to inform you.

Last but not least, please include all correct items that are shown in the picture and/or your description.

That looks like a "standard" message they sent to all sellers and all except one were reasonable requests.

I'd be concerned about identifying the outside of a package as being the result of an ebay sale.

You don't say what the value is, how it's to be "shipped" or whether the buyer is in the UK but if someone in the delivery chain is a bit unscrupulous and spots the item, they could quickly find out if it was worth stealing.

Sounds like the shipping address might be a forwarding agent.

If so it shouldn't be a problem, just make sure it's the delivery address shown on the Paypal transaction details.
