To a lovely dog who we lost on Wednesday after 13 happy years with her.

And thanks for sharing your loss with us. That song reduced me to tears. Many of us will know how deep the loss is especially if you are on your own no house could be emptier. I have often thought what a world would be like without dogs who give their love without conditions no matter how harsh they maybe. We kept a lock of hair after the passing on of our last dog. RIP dear Amber.

It's always so hard when a beloved pet departs this life.

You can perhaps console yourself a little that Amber had a wonderful life with you and your family and you will always have the wonderful memories of her.

What can I say Margie except that I was very sorry to hear the sad news?

It's very hard when a well-loved dog has reached the end and even harder to say "Goodbye".

I'd thought of a few songs but no, they're too hearbreaking to listen to at a time like this.

Its very hard to say goodbye to a doggy friend,  

I lost my best friend "Scamp" in 1974, having had him 14yrs.
