South African justice! What a travesty. The very least that Anni Dewani's family deserve would be to see Shrien Dewani stand in the dock and to hear his version of what happened that night. It is so sad that her family will probably spend the rest of their lives never knowing what happened to her. This is not justice.

South African Justice.

Its like any Justice system,if there is no  cast iron proof of a crime then no conviction can follow.

Its up to the prossecution to get the evidence to get a conviction.

If the Police didnt do that, then either they were sloppy,or he didnt do it.

We have been drip fed sensational stories by the press, we do not have access to evidence just hear say. The justice system in SA is based on good foundations and very capable of making a judgement of this kind. Those already in jail for the crime are guilty of murder, until new evidence emerges, and it may not, then the law has been observed.

The main problem was the inept police investigation.

It seems to me they're still with the train of thought that becomes fixated on what they think happened.

They should have focussed solely on securing evidence and let that take them towards an outcome.

The same outcome would have happened in UK (if it came to court at all)

Like here, if the trial continued, he wouldn't have taken the stand anyway, as is his right

Remember the murderers did a plea bargain, to get their charges reduced and a limit set on their sentences, as long as they incriminated Dewani (must protect the Tourist Industry) blame the Asian

Hatred and discrimination against Asians by the indigenous population is just as bad as the past discrimination by sections of the White population was against them.

Any disorder and the Asians and mixed race people have always been targeted first

Asians are the bogeymen to the ethnic South Africans

Now that gay sex is legal I'm sure they are not obligated by law to let everyone know about it!

That's true. But perhaps, if a girl was considering marrying someone, she might like to know if he was screwing male prostitutes.

It might influence her decision.
