OK, in or out?

How about an RT poll?

No reasons, no argument, no debate just a straightforward IN or OUT.

Me? OUT.

Regarding the link to the 1930's anti-Jew poster...it's a bit rich posting that, when most of the hatred and nasty rhetoric towards Jews these days comes from Palestine -supporting Labour Party members and supporters.

Diabolical scenes but at least it looks like the French are trying to control the situation.

I don't understand this claim though from the article, "Economic migrants congregating in Calais know that if Britain votes to leave the EU we can take control of our borders. That is why they are so desperate to get to the UK should we vote to save our country on Thursday."

Can someone please explain how leaving the EU will help one iota to stop this type of migrant entering the UK - they are not EU citizens and I fail to see how strict border controls in Dover rather than in Calais will prevent them landing in the UK and claiming asylum.

So no answer nor even a suggestion - when put to most in favour of BREXIT the accusation of 'scaremongering" is more often than not the reply!

Re: OK, in or out?

Two can play at that game.

If France decides to "allow" those illegal immigrants to embark on routes across the channel, we could refuse to allow them to disembark and turn back the means of their crossing.

STOP PRESS

Apparently there is a 3rd box on the ballot...Cameron on TV today is urging us to vote to stay in a reformed EU.....just what reformed EU is that? the pie in the sky one?

Maybe someone should also ask if 'IN' wins and the EU then unleash a shed load of nasties can we say all bets are off and we will now leave?  Remain say once out we are out, does IN mean we are always in????

Re: OK, in or out?

In or Out it is a stark choice, never seen such a well defined split in my lifetime all based on assumption and misinformation.
Can't see there being many winners and I don't think there will be much forgiveness either.
I have a question for each side, for the remain camp, if it is as close as predicted will they renegotiate our sovereignty with the EU?

For Brexit, when we get our Island back when will repatriation of incomes start and how many will be deported.

Me too, but it is a shame that people can't co-operate with each other; without the need to control each other.  One doesn't need to be controlling, to be in control..........only sheep need a shepherd.

Re: OK, in or out?

Why do people keep quoting Norway? Norway has a population of 5 million...Switzerland, 8 million... We have a population of 65 million!!! The 'news' I've been listening to about this is that coming out of Asia... In particular... Singapore. Most of the economists think BREXIT will send a shockwave round the world but it will be a good one! China has said that the day after we leave they will be banging on our door to do a trade deal .... And a queue will follow! Japan who threatened to pull out are not being taken seriously. The concensus in Singapore is that the high £ will drop which will encourage big investment from the big emerging nations of China and India.

I reckon we have the potential to be the Singapore of the West...the infrastructure is already here to be the biggest trading and financial centre! Singapore attracts the lucrative migrants not those at the bottom who suck the life blood out the country!

Of course we need doctors and nurses but we have the Devils own getting them here from outside the EU because of EU regs... from countries we have recruited from in the past such as India, Malaysia, Indonesia and Africa. This will be MUCH easier out of the EU! We can fast track them! What's probably more important is to address the skills shortage from within our borders and make nursing and medical training more appealing! The NHS will be under greater threat not just from migrants but also from the US trade deal which is almost at the point of ratification and is one reason they want us to stay in the EU (the other being the fear that we might usurp NY in banking and financial services if we model ourselves like Singapore....who have a free trade agreement with the EU!).

Let's have fewer arts ed courses because there are so few paying jobs in drama and film. Encourage youngsters to want to work in areas that will encourage growth in our economy and bring prosperity or to fulfill those needs to keep our services running efficiently! We lag behind in IT and science too!

I think an exit would be very exciting. The EU is just too big ...government by committee never works! I think we need an injection of innovation and something to get our teeth into! A return to democracy...my only concern if/when we exit ....Cameron and Osborne... They have to go! We need a BREXIT symposium of all parties to work together to get us out and steer us to a brighter more vibrant future with the rest of the world AND the EU!!!

Re: OK, in or out?

Are we incapable of working with others? Is isolation the way forward? Are we going to unite and take this country forward when half the population is only interested in themselves.
Reality check guys, let's not pretend the grass is always greener it's just too important to be glib and unrealistic about what can and cannot be achieved.

So while little Singapore thrives, we are told by defeatist EU remainers that Britain is too small to emulate such success...
