"I cannot see the point of Sellers using these totally unreliable Delivery Drivers.
Us Ebay Customers are given a Date of Delivery, which 7 out of 10 times don't arrive on schedule or not at all!
Lazy Britain without a care in the World.
After my 15 recent purchases on Ebay,
I am closing my Ebay Account & start dealing with The Companies Direct"
I have spent Thousands on items on Ebay since 2015 - I have given up with the complete incompitence of Delivey Drivers - PERIOD"

If you read the posts on this board you will see this is a HUGE issue not only for buyers but for sellers.
It is not us sellers who are showing delivery dates it's ebay.
They for some reason magically estimate a date that items will be received (very often next day when second class is chosen).
There are currently no plans by ebay to address this issue so it will continue to stress sellers and buyers unfortunately 😕
It's a real shame that buyers don't understand who makes up the delivery "estimates"

How will dealing with companies directly change your issues with delivery drivers or do these companies use "special" drivers.

For sellers, prepare a short message about delivery schedules and include it with all your exchanges with buyers and you could also include it in your listings. The actual delivery is out of your hands
unless you're delivering things yourself so you're at the mercy of the delivery companies.
If more sellers make buyers aware of the situation, buyers may become a bit more understanding.

Satisfied. Honesty is the best Policy::
The only ones I know who do that are shops like Argos. The vast majority of companies use third party delivery companies.
If you need something fast, go out to a shop and buy it.

Although of course some parcels are delayed in transit, you should blame ebay mostly for their fantasy delivery dates.
When I sell something and my dispatch date is, for example, the 20th. Ebay correctly tells me to dispatch by the 20th but at the same time is telling buyers that their item will arrive between 17th and the 21st.
So from 3 days BEFORE I am due to post to one day after. Since I specify a 5 day courier all these dates are totally ludicrous.
This of course leads to angry buyers who blame the seller, or the courier, and not ebay.

It is frustrating for everyone. We raise the issues with eBay delivery estimates to eBay and buyers / sellers complain to couriers regularly about poor delivery practices but it is like banging our heads against the ice wall. Sorry I had to 😄
