Well after 10 years of selling I've been beaten by the fees! It's been fun but I just can't hack it anyone! Need a new hobby now, one that doesn't cost me money in the end by charging extortionate fees!! Paying the 10% extra on postage was the final straw!! Bye bye eBay it was fun until 2 months ago 😞

It really is hard now.

First the Royal Mail put up their prices, making it more costly then some items, so it is no longer a viable option to sell low cost items on here.

Then ebay stick commission on postal charges, how unfair is that?

So I can sell an item in the UK which costs me £2.60 to post 2nd class, and ebay take an extra 0.26p. on top all other charges.

The same item to Australia, costs me £8.00 to post and therfore ebay take an extra 80p on top of all other charges.

So.... I too have cut down on selling.

I know sellers now pay commission on postage but what was the eBay rationale for that decision?

I think I must have missed the discussion somewhere along the way...
