Human rights gone to far?

Guess i wont be alone in condeming the way this couple have been treated-

What is the difference by winning a civil case and getting them thrown out of the caravan, and the police immidiately recovering stolen property??

Think i would, if it was the only solution buy a cheap caravan for the travellers to live in so the police cant claim it breaches their human rights.

Two things.

1/ Don't they have any claim on the owners of the "secure site" which wasn't very secure?

2/ If they get it back, it'll be absolutely wrecked and worthless.
