Looks like it's early morning, no-one about (apart from that photographer) but Bunny is all dressed up so had she and Petal been on a night out togther and were heading home (for ........ ooooo 😉)  when they were followed by that imposter which enraged Petal to the extent where he really let fly with that bat?

There's no point in that defective (😀) showing Petal a pic of an imposter, Petal knows what they look like after having bashed loads of 'em with his well-bloodied bat! Bunny's looking worried? Is she thinking Petal might get arrested for imposter-bashing? It's not arrest he needs, it's a medal for doing the good work for so long. If Bunny puts her oar in, Petal shouldn't get any problem and should get the recognition he deserves.
