Evening Bidicus CD And All Checking The Euro Before Looking In

For A Few Weeks I Been Having Trouble With Seeing Clearly So This Morning I Cleaned Spec's

As Normal In Daylight And Found Two Centre Thumb Prints That Would Not Clean

Turns Out I Cleaned Them Sometime With A Dirty Tissue So Tomorrow I'm Having A Test Ad New Lense's

Hi Petal, I never use tissue or even edge of clothes to clean specs, always use microfibre/lens cloth and lens spray. Over time tissue scratches the lenses and as my specs are £300+ I've learnt the expensive way 😦

Who mentioned glasses sigh.   Both Glyn and i have an appt for new glasses this Friday.

He has vari focals and we have both have polarised reactive glasses. 

After Friday we may need to mortgage our home 😞

You might be but that imposter looks like a bit of a scrubber. I didn't work in "car spares" where bits were needed for those old models. Also, Rolls and Bentley were made there then, (as well as aircraft engine parts and parts for Fighting Vehicles). It was in latter years that the two marques were split up.

Normal Place I Go To Wanted Specs For Two Weeks To  Replace New Lenses £230---£290

Went To Another Place Told Them Up Front Where I'd Been And The Price

Their Offer Was I Keep Spec's For The Two Weeks They Phone Me And I Pop 

Down For An Hour And Lenses Are Put In For £138

Payed On The Spot

Now thats a bargain.   We have new frames when we get new glasses.

When one has to wear specs full time no way could i be without them for 2 weeks lol
