When I downloaded CS2 for brother, I had no issues.
Just saved it to desktop and ran it from there. Followed all prompts entered serial number and was up & running.
In reference to Winrar, it's a file compression utility which makes downloads quicker. You have to extract the files similar to zip files.
Yeah, I need to make myself hot, as I don't get fever...eating or drinking hot stuff does the trick.

PS Elements seemed a bit funny but then I am not too keen on that.
A shame that the posting business has become so tricky for the average user, which is the majority. My mum for example, is perfectly able of emailing , skyping and browsing the web a bit - she wouldn't know where to start on here without a major course.
