Big Ben is going to visit US Museums!!

I just heard a rumor today that parts of Big Ben were going to be shipped to the US to visit museums for a while.  Anybody know anything about this??

I'm sure my information must be correct - I heard it from two drunks down at a bar in Eugene....

Big Ben is actually the name of the Great BELL inside the Clock (Elizabeth II) Tower

Maybe in this US Museum tour - and as an added attraction - they could also include Cameron, Clegg, and Milliband ? Perfect examples of Dinosaurs.

  Good idea emb, and make it an extended tour, or permanent exhibition.

Thank you for showing me the smaller version of Big Ben!  I love modern art - I always thought Picasso needed glasses....They won't let me in the door, you know...  I walk up, and they say, "Oh, no!  It's him again!"  It was probablly the glasses thing.

Benny Hill is gone (sob), and Spike Milligan is gone as well (sob, sob, cry).  So, in their memory, I thought I would see if I could start a silly rumor that was harmless.  Big Ben seemed like a good bet (the bell and the clock and the tower, and all) and besides, I've always wanted to see it...  Next week I shall start a rumor about Nelson's Statue at Trafalgar Square visiting the Pirates of the Carribean Ride at Disneyland.   The poor thing could use a vacation.
