Are the eBay Groups Interests & Hobbies Defunct?

Just wondering if anyone knows if any of the Groups for Interests or Hobbies are Defunt?

Or have they become Elite?

I have applied to 3 groups to become a Member several weeks ago and had no response?!

I might just then leave the obvious 'Selected Elite' of 10 Members 😂😂🤣, although the thought of a Horses Head on my pillow isn't appealing in the slightest! 😫😖😵🤐

The thing is, are the groups still active? Many ebay things (like the boards) have died the death since the boards were killed revamped and many long-term posters have left/given up/died.

The once vibrant boards and their cheerful members are no more, there's only a very small number of regulars left and the lack of activity means they post very little too.

I can think of several current topics about which to post a thread, but what's the point when no-one bothers to reply? Within a short time there could be twenty views but not a word back in reply.

Yes, I know the boards used to be fabulous fun! There was always something to cheer you up, laugh about, banter about. The only oldies I've seen are; you, marge, petal, peaseblossom,  bank_hunter, and purveyor_of_tat (who still keeps my laughing with their truthful, dry wit replies)...............

However, others have applied for these locked groups recently and been accepted, so I still go for the Elite Club..........😂😂

The thing is, are the originators of the group still "going"? Perhaps they've given up?

You see what I said above about threads being posted and getting few if any replies? I posted a thread (Little Boxes) to "prove" the point I was making and as you see, at the moment there's 40 views and one reply. The "cut off" point for the boards being interesting and active was when they were killed re-vamped. Lots of people made critical points but most were ignored so the posters have gone.

I see ebay trying to make a point "We heard your feedback and......." Huh, ebay didn't hear our feedback about the boards did they?

Yes, they do listen, but only if you are a USA user! eBay seem to hear everything from them, but obviously don't understand general logic, so are lost trying to comprehend anything written on the UK boards......😂

Dizzy I just fell on Simple Minds singing "Don't you forget about me" on Channel 187.  Seems such a long ago now. Was really therapeutic LOL 🙂  Did me a world of good 🙂
