Anyone in the music industry?

Is there anyone on here involved with the music industry?

I was wondering about miming!! You watch an "official video" of an act performing one of their songs and it sounds wonderful, just like the "record" but watching carefully the lip/mouth movements are "just a little bit off"! Also, it'd be impossible to sing while doing some of the things in the video?

Then there's a live performance of the same song and some are little short of musical and vocal perfection, just like the original recording.

Then again there's the live performances where, to be perfectly frank they're awful, nothing like the "official video" so are obvioulsly being performed there and then.

Another thing I'd like to know about (!!!) is autocues. You often see along the front of the stage or in front of the performers a row of what look like footlights but are some of them autocues? They're often the same shape?

When there's a whole load of songs performed live, how the heck do they remember all the words and the music?

So, have a look at some videos on youtube and have a good look-see at the actions, some are sooooo good, others are, er, well, a bit questionable?
