Hi,

I have a situation I need help with. I applied to sell e-cigarettes back in 2022 but never received a response. I contacted customer service back then, but it didn't lead to any resolution. Afterward, I took some time off eBay and returned to selling at the start of this year.

Yesterday, I reapplied using the application form and immediately received a response stating that I didn't meet the criteria because my item not received rate was 1.11%, whereas it should be 1% or less. However, when I checked my eBay account, my current item not received rate is 0.20%, and my projected rate is 0.88%, both of which are below the threshold. I meet all other criteria, so I'm unsure why my application was rejected.

I feel left out, especially since there were around 100 sellers back in 2022, and now there are over 500 sellers in the category I wish to sell in. Any assistance or clarification would be greatly appreciated.

After looking into this, it appears that not all criteria were met and the 'Item not received rate' is High. You can check this here. However, this has already been escalated to the team and I will update you as soon as the team comes back to me.

The system is quite peculiar i was going through the new account that got authorised and saw one with 2 feedbacks and only 3 items listed. How can they pass it that system.
