Hi,
I bought this from Japan thinking I would be able to get instructions in English of how to set the watch for all functions, or if not, at least how to set the time date and home my city region (London)
No chance ! I have spent countless hours looking for instructions/manuals from the internet. One retailer in the Uk advertises that they will assist with this task even if watch was not supplied by them . Not true, I visited this store and although the assitant tried hard to get information it was very limited, he also stated he had not heard of this policy.
I was given, for free by the store , Operation Guide 5174 which is the same number given to my watch (5174 WVQ-M410). Many pages of this are missing so of some limited use only.
Other information I have found for the same model conflict with each other when describing the same setting functions.
My plea, and I am at that stage, is there any one who can truly help, not the advertisers who state they can, but can't
I have feeling that even Casio don't know how to do this.
The Japanese supplier, when I contacted them, stated I should be able to set the time and date with ease. I can get to having the hands set at 6 o'clock but no further.
Day, date , I can't access without upsetting all other settings.
My last Casio Wave Ceptor lasted for 15years which infuenced me to go for Casio again, possibly a big mistake!!!
I shall carry on trying but I have a feeling that I will be sending this back to the supplier in Japan, which is a pity as I do like the look and feel of this watch.
