Hope someone can help me to understand my options. I am not an experienced seller so learning something new with every sale.  Buyer bought Buy It Now item from me but has not paid for it (did not know it was possible). Item is quite high value for me £280, buyer has no feedback and is located in China. Naturally, it felt like red flags coming up for a scam. Listing is only for UK delivery, do not ship internationally.  I have contacted buyer and advised that I do not offer international delivery. He responded after a day asking to cancel the order as he did not realise that. Item is still not paid for.  Questions: shall I cancel this order? If yes, will I be subject to ebay fees? Hi, I sold an item, received payment and posted, the buyer didn’t receive it and opened a case, I refunded him. He has now contacted me to say it has arrived and he wants to resend payment, how do I organise this or do I have to relist it for him to buy it again and then invoice him? I sold a 9ct gold pearl necklace and bracelet set on a different account and the buyer has opened a 'not as described' case saying the string under the necklace and bracelet is silver not gold.  I still have the original receipt for the bracelet (but can't find the necklace receipt) which clearly states 9ct gold pearl beacelet and I think they are also hallmarked.  Do I have to accept the return and lose the Special Delivery postage costs both ways?  Would Ebay accept the bracelet receipt as evidence or will they just side with the buyer?  I don't want to end up losing the items as well but I think its unfair to have to refund when I havn't falsely described a silver necklace as gold. ... I have  a predicament with a buyer who bid and won and item of mine over 6 months ago.  He duly paid for the item.  However, despite my persistent requests for when he was going to collect  I either got no response, or the occassional response that was an excuse why he couldn't collect.  The item was furniture which I had to put in storage for space reasons.  Now. over 6 months later the buyer is asking if he can collect.  After all this time and my chasing I don;t feel obliged to assist him. hi all i've got a big problem it started saturday all my overseas postage prices disappeared from 80% of my listings, i was on phone to a ebay tech who was getting me to do this and that as i was having trouble adding postage for usa, every time i added usa post it keep putting it in the exculsion zone section that i dont post there, no matter how many times i edited it and unclick them it would just go back in, so we were trying to sort that, after a hour on phone he couldnt fix the problem and made me send him sceen shots of a selling page with the postage showing, and said he go and look into it and will ring me back later that day, that never happened and then i started noticing all my overseas postage charges disapearing, im at a lost with it apart from redoing all 1800 listings ive not got a clue anybody had this happen at all. or know of a fix. ... Hi all   My first question ever here as I have my first ever claim against me in 20 years!   I had a feeling this was going to happen, it was a foreign buyer and the delivery address given was a container storage unit in London. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, silly me.   The buyer has unsurprisingly opened a case for "non-received goods", but I have the proof of posting and a scan of the proof of delivery from the Royal mail Track and Trace website. I have given him the tracking number and delivery details but he has gone silent, not closed the case and and Paypal has suspended my money.   How long before this claim times out and Iget my money back?   Is there still a chance Ebay finds against me as the case now says "awaiting buyer action". What more action can the buyer take if I have proof of delivery? ... View more

I cannot get the list an item page up to sell an item is anyone else having problems? I cannot add tracking number to a sold and dispatched item, it wont save and add the number I cannot move on a case opened with resolution centre to ask them to step in no matter what i try I cant get the  request for ebay to step in. Hi, I sold and item which has not been paid for and no communication either. It is more than 48 hours since the auction finished so I want to log an Unpaid Item claim. When I try to log it, I get 'Unpaid Item Assistant will open a case for this item on 08 Nov, 2020 if payment hasn't been recorded'. It is the 8th November but cannot see a case logged in resolution centre - what am I doing wrong? ... View more

Hi guys I listed an item which sold. Buyer paid. I posted. Buyer received bit item wasn’t what he expected. He messaged me and I reread my description and realised my mistake. Item title was correct but details said item came with a plug, which it doesn’t. My mistake totally. I’ve offered the buyer a full refund or a partial refund if he wants to keep what I’ve sent him. He declined both. I was selling another of the items and he said he wanted me to send him that free. I said I’d do this albeit reluctantly because of the loss to me not now being able to sell it to someone else. He’s told me I’ve deliberately deceived him and only sent him the cheaper of the two items because of the low value of the bid. I haven’t. I didn’t have the other item to sell or send. It was purely a listing error. I stupidly used the sell similar item function for ease without checking the wording! I’ve contacted eBay who’ve said offering a full refund is a suitable resolution and I’ve not disobeyed any selling rules. The buyer has now given me 7 days to send the “missing” item or how he will instigate private court proceedings for compensation. Ive had legal advice from a local solicitor in currently using for a family matter who’ve said the same as eBay. They will represent me when the court proceedings arrive and on the day of the hearing but obviously at a cost. A listing error, which is totally my fault and I should have spotted at the time but didn’t is now going to cost me dearly both financially and emotionally.
