I put some items on eBay at the beginning of October. At first, the money was just pending so I left it, but now quite a few of my items are saying that the payment failed and only a few say they're pending on my paypal. Any help?!  ... View more

My  understanding  and  having  read  EBAY  policy  having been  a member  now  for over  10yrs  was that if  someone  bids  on  an  item  they  have  to honour  that  payment  , e,g,  pay for  it  unless  agreed  with  the  Seller  e,g  myself to ask  Ebay to  retract  the  bid.  ALL OF  WHICH  I HAVE  NOT  so  why  has a  buyer  disappeared  after  having made  a  bid ???  and  then i call  EBAY to  be  told  by  an EBAY  REP a load of  nonsense  that  on  the  advert it  says  it has  AUTO  RETRACT  Which  i  have  scan the  whole  of my  advert  again and  again  and  seen  no  such  selection  option.  I  will  be  expecting  either  EBAY  to chase  bidder for  this  payment  either  way  they  should  honour  this  as it  says  100%  satisfaction  and  money  guarented  once  a  bidder  shows  on my listing.  SO EBAY  STOP  TRYING TO FOB  ME  OFF  AND  SORT  THIS  ASAP  AND  MAKE  THE  PAYMENT  IF  NO OTHER  BIDS END  OFF  or  i shall  be  seeking  advice  on this  to  get  my  payment.   ... Hi,  I sold a mower that has apparently stopped working. It looks to be an old repair that has lasted for the last 10 years that has failed. The guy I sold it to took it to a mower repair shop who charged him £120 to look at it and diagnose the issue. He is wanting me to reduce the price by half (£400 off) so he doesn't have to return it. To return it he has to rent a van. Would you suggest to get him to get eBay involved and start a resolution case? I sold it in good faith, I even had to do a video to show him it working. eBay help 0800 358 6552 Live help is perpetually closed. Automated reply was entirely incorrect. The buyer that first bought to car on eBay was determined to visit the car before paying anything which was not possible. It says ‘Relist now’ and when I try, it then states: You cannot edit, relist or sell similar Second Chance Offer listings. It also says: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sh/lst/active?action=summary&status=BIDS_RESERVE_MET It was last listed at £320. I still have not managed to get my money back from eBay to my bank and the car is in limbo. The last two later bids on my re-listing appear to have disappeared. I still want to re-advertise the car without being charged again, how do I do that? I still have the item: Ford Focus Ghia. Hi and good evening everyone I have a buyer who won an auction but I find has no feedback history and hasn't paid yet, despite my asking for the payment. I understand that I can wait 2 days then open a non payment dispute. Also that I can then offer a second chance to another buyer. My question is, I listed the item under a £1 max fees deal. If I go down the second chance route, will I still have the £1 max offer limit, or Wil I be liable for the full 10% of selling price? Have had the same problem as loads of other people, not being able to access Ebay but have now sorted it. Saw that some people had success with turning off Kids protection in Virgin and tried the same with my Talktalk account.  Logged into my TT account then went to HomeSafe and turned off the KIDSAFE completely, leaving the other security settings and hey presto, I can now get into Ebay and everything is as it should be. Anyone know how this can happen? Because this is the 2nd time with the same buyer.   When the order details were sent to the buyer, the address shown was in the USA with £30 shipping.   The buyer paid, but the order details now show an address in China with the £30 shipping.   I do not have a shipping fee set to China, I have China set to "buyers contact for costs".   I thought when buyers want purchases sent to a county where "buyers contact for costs", they could not pay until they requested the total from the seller.   So, how was this buyer able to change country from USA to China, and pay for shipping that was billed to an address in USA?   I tried eBay live chat.
