If the buyer is sending you abusive messages there are a few options you can take to report the messages to eBay if you know where to look. To start with, I'll explain the procdedure for locating the first one, which is part of eBay's Abusive Buyer Policy.
First of all scroll right down to the bottom of this page and click on the link that says "Policies", then when the A - Z Index Of Policies page appears on the screen scroll down the page until you get to the section entitled "B." Scroll down a little further in the category of all options starting "B" until you get to the heading that says "Buyer", then click on the "Abusive Buyer" link, which is the first option directly beneath the "Buyer" heading.
Once you have clicked on the link that says "Abusive Buyer" a new page entitled "Abusive Buyer Policy" will load up. Scroll down the page and you will see a big blue "Report A Buyer" button. Use that link to report the buyer and hopefully eBay will take action to prevent a repeat of this behaviour from the buyer.
The second option is outlined in the paragraph below. This would be the most appropriate option to use if the buyer's e-mails are threatening in nature.
From the A - Z Index Of Policies page scroll down to Section E of the list. Keep on going until you get to the section entitled "E-Mails", then click on the link that reads "Threats." A page entitled "Member-To-Member Contact Policy" will appear on the screen. This is more of a Frequently Asked Questions type of page - scroll down the page until you get to the section entitled "What Can I Do About A Member Who's Threatening Me?" There is a link in the first sentence below that heading which says "Report It To Us Immediately." If the buyer's e-mails are of a threatening nature then report the buyer to eBay using that link instead and they ought to take action against the buyer to prevent him from doing it again.
