I haven't been able to access my account for three days now, I've changed my pass word, and as soon as I put it in a get a page saying we can't confirm it's you and I don't get any further, I live in an area where the signal is really bad. I've spoken to PayPal on the phone and they said let us know when the message comes through on the phone, it was three hours plus, I'm at my wits end. Does any one know what has happened Please.
Sorry, but only paypal can help.
Are you using phone or PC to access paypal, PC is best.
When I have code sent to phone, it is instant, but code only valid for a few minutes.
I've made no changes to my PayPal account since opening it many years ago, but I'm having a security problem too. Every time I've recently used the 'call me' option on the login page, to enable me to enter the security code into my phone's keypad to prove it's me, my phone doesn't ring. This has been going on for a couple of weeks. It wasn't a serious problem till yesterday, when the 'not now' button was no longer available, and I was therefore blocked from accessing my account until I'd used the code. After hitting the 'call me' button a zillion times with no success, I gave up. But I was later able to accidentally access my account from the PayPal forums. I can't for the life of me remember how I did it, as it wasn't anything I was expecting to be able to do, so I can't message you with instructions. All I can advise is that you keep on at PayPal, to find out what the heck is going on. 😞
There have been reports that sometimes the password change does not work and they can still log in with old password.
