E bay Reference number on the invoice address

Why is there a E bay Reference number on the invoice address for buyer that’s suddenly appeared

I don't like the idea of telling the world that a package contains an ebay purchase. When I have one I think I will ignore that part of the address. Buyer can always be advised by message.
