Charged twice on invoice.

Failing to contact Ebay via telephone and / or directly via email, I have no other option but to try and resolve my issue on this platfom. I also requested Ebay to contact me but this service claims to be 'out of order'.

 

I have been charged twice on my recent invoice for an item I sold. Originally the buyer asked to cancel the transaction (which I did) and I refunded the buyer the funds. Almost immediately after I had refunded the funds, the buyer changed their mind and decided that they wanted to buy the item after all. I was unable to reverse the refund, therefore I relisted the item again and the buyer re-sent her payment (very trusting of them!). I received the payment from the buyer and the previous refund went through to the buyer (stated as refunded on Ebay and Paypal).  

However, this month I have been charged for the refunded item AND the sold item (charged twice!).

how did you close down the first sale?

 

 

you should have used the drop down menu next to the item and cancelled it choosing buyer requested as the reason

 

 

ebay won't know a sale hasn't happened unless you tell them!
