Can’t enter Tracking number for item sold!

I posted an item via Royal Mail Collection. Now it’s been collected ebay won’t let me enter the tracking number. I’ve seen this problem but with people who are returning and using ebay prepaid labels. But I purchased the collection separately via Click & Drop. The message i get from eBay is “one or more tracking number (s) in the request already exists either for a different buyer or for a different seller”.

I did send the tracking to the buyer before it was collected and scanned, i dont want to assume anything but could they have tampered with it?

When scanned by RM it was loaded on Ebay.

Surely you can see if there is tracking already loaded or just search the tracking number on the RM website to see what comes up.

This is what happens with returns, the tracking number cannot be entered twice.

It was an item i sold - not a return.

It can’t have loaded on ebay unfortunately as i purchased the RM Collection through click and drop on the royal mail website seperately
