I have 1 day left on a pair of GHDs I’m selling. A potential seller has just asked me if the GHDs are in working order, something I completely omitted to address in the listing. I think they are working, but I can't answer with confidence as it no longer has a 3 pin adapter plug attached.
I just tried to test them using my 2 pin plug adapter for my electric toothbrush. The Ghd light came on and it beeped as expected, then nothing. I think I blew the fuse on the toothbrush adapter plug- it is only 1amp and I think the Ghd requires a higher amp.
My question is:
Can I just remove the listing, so I can test them properly and re list again? Or do I just need to update the listing, so it says " not sure if working, unable to test'
No bids received. Just 1 offer.
thank you in advance.
As you've had an offer, I don't think you'll be able to edit. You will have to end the listing (which you do from your Selling page), and relist once you can include an accurate description. Don't forget that items which don't work, or which you aren't sure work, must be sold for spares/repairs - you can't list this in the category you're currently using unless it's in full working order.
Changes or removing an items with no bids on it can usually be carried out if over 24 hours left before the end of auction.
