Buyers scamming Sellers

Hi All,

Is it just me or does anyone else see the loophole that buyers are exploiting to get free stuff?

Case in point;

buyer purchase goods, the goods are dispatched second class service Royal Mail 2-3 day service

the good don’t arrive and on day 4 the buyer instigates an item not received request.

that gives me the seller 3 days to resolve the claim or refund the buyer.

so I email the buyers, I get no response, if I don’t refund eBay steps in and refunds the buyer anyway

then potentially the goods still arrive albeit late and by that time Royal Mail have made the 13 day deadline before they consider the item lost for claim purposes.

it a total scam this and it’s happening frequently to me.

any advice would be greatly appreciated

regards,

Sadly the only way to stop it is....stop selling.
