I am genuinely interested how many people here would consider moving to a business account (even if they are a private seller) if eBay gave sellers a better deal.
From the US site, you get 10,000 listings a month for just $59.95 (with 5 shop tier options).
Nearest in the UK are 1,500 fixed & 600 auctions for £77 a month (with 3 shop tiers). The next jump is £437 a month!
Isn't it about time eBay gave another few tiers similar to US with greatly increased listing allowance? Wouldn't that make Private sellers think of switching?
How many of you would?

A lot of business sellers will agree that the tiers are not fit for purpose.
We would welcome more choice with extra tiers between the basic, featured and anchored shops. The auction listings are too high ( recently increased from 500 to 600 for featured ) and many of us cannot use all of these and would prefer more BIN listings and less auction listings.
It has been mentioned in the weekly chat although the reply was that they are not ( currently) looking to make any changes to the subscriptions.

Whenever ive been asked to complete a "How can we make ebay a better place for you to sell, survey" ive always bought this up.I have suggested that they give sellers a "bolt on option" each month, allowing seller to add more listings at a reasonable price, rather than pay an extra £360 a month for thousands more listings, which we wouldnt use.I will pay around £180-200 for my extra listings,on top of my £77 subscription for 1500.There must be some way ebay can address this, to help smaller buisiness grow.

Never thought of the bolt on option.
That would be perfect if they aren't going to add new shop subscriptions.
