A couple of months ago, there was an issue with the about me section on member profiles where if someone typed something and then pressed enter to start a new line - it wouldn't let you save it... last week I noticed that the issue had been fixed. (thank you)
Yesterday I was viewing one of my items on my phone when I noticed the description looked all jumbled... but it did not look like that when I created the listing last week.
So having spent a bit of time playing with it, it seems that now your listing description has to be one huge line of text... The minute you start a new line or even just make one word bold - the item description on your mobile will become jumbled,
However, it will display fine in the pop up that comes up after you hit the 'see full description' link,
The problem is, the mobile description is the first thing people using phones will see when they view your item - so if the mobile description is jumbled and looks like a drunk person wrote it - they won't bother clicking see full description.
Is this a bug that will be fixed? or is it a new change that eBay are making?
