Why do ebay make everything so difficult !

So we all know that ebay hate private sellers here and want all to change to business accounts !  As they have restricted my seller account I have tried to close it. I will certainly not need it for buying as I do not intend to purchase anything again from ebay due to the buyers fee (A mattter of principle...I do not wish to pay for the privilege to buy !)

So after requesting closure I get an email saying 'There's a restriction on your account. You'll need to contact us to get this resolved' And we all know how hard it is to contact ebay !!!

This was after informing me, by mistake, that I could continue selling on my other account, which I then tried but found still restricted also. Ebay don't seem to have a clue, constantly giving out wrong information and making everything so difficult. I'm glad that I'm out, if ever I actually manage it !

Totally agree! It used to be so much simpler to sell and (discounting the few things that do still work) I now find myself spending hours going around in circles trying to get functions to work with no success. 

Impossible to get answers and personally, I think it’s a shambles for private sellers like myself.

Whilst you can start the account closure, it can take months for eBay to close an account (up to 60 days).
