When I go to create a listing an item I now get a choice between Simple Delivery or Custom postage. If I select Simple Delivery I am asked to select a weight / size band from a choice of six. If I select Custom postage though, there is no where to enter weight and dimensions. There always used to be before Simple Delivery came in but it has disappeared now. (I'm using Seller Hub on a computer browser.)

Not really a problem, except I'm signed up for GSP.  How does GSP know how much to charge for shipping? Do they charge the same for a postcard as they do for a 30kg parcel?

It does say "You choose your postal courier, service and price with advanced settings". Where are these advanced settings?

I've just checked some of my existing GSP enabled listings and no price is being quoted for overseas countries, it tells buyers to contact me for a price.

Can we not use GSP if we don't use Simple Delivery?

I am trying to list something which is under £10 and under 100g, so I should be able to opt out of Simple Delivery. How can I do that when I can’t enter the package weight when listing?

I also tried selecting the Simple Delivery option with under 100g selected, but that still gave the minimum price of £2.70, which is obviously useless. Even if I am able change it at the point of purchase, nobody will buy it if the quoted postage is inflated.

I’ve done a bit of digging this morning and I have found that the weight and package size options appear when listing certain categories, such as jewellery, but not others. Looks like a right royal ****-up to me, otherwise known as “another day at EBay”.

it’s working on the app still (the custom postage option) but I can’t get it on the browser

if you have the phone app do it there to start and save a draft and continue on browser if you like

you can workaround it by creating new listing and call it a “postcard”

takes you straight into custom 

then change your title and category etc
