Using just Royal Mail for Simple Delivery (no thanks Evri)

I accept that SD is mandatory, even though I don't like the fact.

Can I only have Royal Mail selected for its usage though? Evri are an appalling company which I do not want to use. Currently, I can't find a way of making SD Royal Mail only...

Also, what about packaging costs? The books I sell are from my collection that I'm running down and I protect them heavily to avoid damage (so the item rightly gets to the buyer in the condition described). Simple Deliver doesn't seem to take that into account.

I thought I'd read that you can opt out of Evri, and therefore be RM only. There was a link which I'm sure someone will post.
