So usually when I sell multiple items to a buyer I send them an invoice and adjust the postage accordingly - there is no such option there at the moment - there is a link to combine items so I click on that and then try and collate them there and get this message

Sorry last, it looks like that function has been taken away and is not coming back 🙁 (as it's 'not compatible with the new system'... apparently)
You workarounds are :
1. get you buyers to pay for everything separately, then you refund them the over-payment.
or
2. cancel the sales then re-sell everything to them as one big lot.

Iv had an interesting one today. Lady bought two lots and asked me to combine in one box. Cudnt raise a combined invoice so told her to pay for both lots and i would refund on the extra postage. Sadly she paid for one lot ok but on the second lot she paid for the item but for postage she put 'collection only' so now iv dispatched them all i cannot complete the second lot as it needs a collection code. Iv emailed the lady trying to explain this but english isnt her first language so iv given up asking. No idea now how i complete the sale and say the second item has been dispatched.Not having a combined invoice feature anymore is very poor.

Has anyone! any idea how long it will be before we will be able to send an invoice to our buyers?
i am unable to send an invoice! Change Postal Costs. It's really quite annoying, Having to keep refunding Postage. And explaining to buyers that i am unableto send an invoice or discount their Postage.
EBAY SEEM TO HAVE SHOT THEIRSELVES IN THE FOOT. TOO MANY CHANGES THAT ARE UNNECESSARY.

And the refunded comes out of available balance not pending as they promised. I had to refund £20 postage and now my available balance is -£2.90. Total mess now they have shut down customer service.

We have submitted the report and the request has been received by the dedicated team that handles this, upon going through the issue where you're unable to send combined invoice we're able to find that you've specified the combined postage under the postage preference.
In most cases, you'll be able to combine the items purchased from the same buyer. However, there'll be occasions when the system won't allow it. If the option to combine doesn't appear, you won't be able to combine purchases.
Here are the most reasons why you can't combine an invoice.
1. You haven't enabled your shipping preferences to allow combined payments (go to Account " Shipping Preferences").
2. The buyer started or completed checkout for one or more of the items.
3. You listed the items using a third party.
4. An eBay Money Back Guarantee or Cancel Transaction case has been opened for one or more of the items.
5. The buyer purchased the items outside of the date range set in your seller preferences.
6. Different shipping methods have been selected on the individual invoices.

Imagine not being able to send something as simple as a combined invoice on an e-commerce site. Who comes up with these ideas, and why aren't they properly thought through or tested before they are implemented?
It looks incredibly unprofessional from both the customers and the sellers perspective when buying/selling items from this platform
It's also going to create problems if your account is linked to something like Royal Mail's Click and Drop, because it won't recognize you are sending items in the same package if it can't be done on eBay first. 🙄

Ive reported a number of issues stopping me from selling over the last week - all different - the bog standard response is - we will send your details to the technical team who are dealing with it - you will get a response to your email within 48-72 hours. Not ONCE have they responded - Not once have they sent an email resolving - Not one issue has been resolved. Utterly useless. They are quite happy to hold on to our money now for 14 days and gaint he interest, but wont resolve an issue which affects loads of people.

Most buyers are just telling me to cancel and relist as BIN as one which solves any issues with refunds and you paying for that before you get paid.....and like I say Buyers are instructing me to do that, well those that are still left after they are now paying more

Yes they are following everything V are doing, at least on V you can bundle items with no problem, and their postage with evri is cheaper too.
