Hello
I can no longer amend any tracking, which is a tad nightmare. Has this now been removed permanently?

Yes, ebay have removed it. You can message it to your buyer and would be able to add the new number to a dispute. Your money will be released anyway.

Yes, this happened a few days ago, so if you do not use the mandatory Simple Delivery, you cannot update/ add any new tracking details.
The option will still be there for cases so sellers can message buyers with the tracking details and if necessary, update cases if one is opened. The option will be there when an INR is opened.

Oh, that's dumb, but i will keep a record of my tracking and message the customer. I had issues with the simply delivery system and have tried to avoid it at all costs. Thank you for responding.
One of my items needs a forklift as it goes onto a Pallet, and I use a pallet network; simply delivery does not have this option.

You should be able to opt out of SD during the listing process for something that size.

You can't, it makes you use DHL who don't have the ability to pick it up....

You don't need to use Simple Delivery if you correctly register as a business seller.

If you plan to sell casually, such as selling items you no longer want, a private account is the best option.
If you want to sell large quantities, if you have items that you've made or bought to resell or if you already have a business outside of eBay, you’ll need to register a business account.

oh let me change it to business if i can add my own tracking and courier?

You should have a business account.
If you change, you will pay listing and selling fees to Ebay. You will have to accept retruns - as you should do anyway.
You could choose your own postage options and your sellers would not have to pay an additional buyer's protection fee on top of the price you set.
