Simple delivery

Now that Ebay are forcing me as a seller to use "Simple Delivery" I am not happy, infact i am seriously thinking of closing my account of close to 20 years of being a member. 

I refuse to use Evri as an option due to their lack of respect for parcels and slow delivery times. I always used RM 48 hour tracked cost plus a small addition for packaging costs, Now with removal of the "Custom postage" option Ebay  are forcing me to use SD......  Not happening.

Why do Ebay try to fix something that isnt broken? its not the first time either. I gues its over to fixed price selling on Gumtree for me from now on..

@iain7025 what are you trying to list that you can't opt out of?

Your small amount for packaging costs will need adding to your item price. The benefits of using Royal Mail via simple delivery are that items are sent using tracked 48, you can have free parcel collection from home with bring the label, and your item is covered for up to £750. If it gets lost or damaged you still keep the sale money and ebay refund the buyer themselves.

@iain7025 i tried listing your fishing hooks and get custom delivery options. You must select price first then select large letter within Simple Delivery.  The Custom delivery box should appear.
