somebody please tell me how I can get rid of simple delivery so I can use my own postage options. my buyers are constantly paying for labels that can't be accepted by the post office, Leaving me to pay for postage myself. also it seems once simple delivery is used as my only option. I then cannot contact the buyer directly to inform them on updates on their tracking information and estimated delivery.
so how do I get rid of this? Totally useless so called simple delivery

If your item is bigger than 30kg and 120cm x 80cm x 80cm you can opt out of SD and choose your own postage. If you have problems doing that follow the advice on here:

Sorry, Simple Delivery is now mandatory for Private Sellers.
Using their labels, it automatically informs buyers items are dispatched, if you use your own postage you have to manually enter tracking yourself, I've shown how below, and a downside of this is that your payouts may be held for a minimum of 14 days.
Benefits of SD if your item is lost or arrives damaged from transit, eBay pay that refund, you get to keep the payout for those items so there are some good things with SD !
For any unused labels, these are refunded :
To add your tracking manually to your own postage , preferably use a laptop / PC then:
Just to add, Business sellers do not have to use Simple Delivery.
