Simple delivery- my item is £60. Will the buyer be refunded the whole £60 if I didn't send through simple delivery ervi but sent through my own royal mail instead as long as I proof it has been delivered (must I put the royal mail tracking number inside the system)? I really hate how eBay forced us into simple delivery. Thank you

If you have your own tracking to show delivery then the buyer will not be refunded if they open a claim for item not received. If your tracking doesn't show delivery you would have to fully refund the £60 to the buyer, then try and claim compensation from the carrier for a lost item, under Simple Delivery eBay would refund the buyer not you.
You need to enter the tracking manually.
Not sure why you are ' hating Simple Delivery' when referring to refunds. Using SD if the item is lost in the post eBay refunds the buyer and you keep the payout.
If you use your own postage and the item is damaged on receipt you have to pay for that refund in full , with Simple Delivery eBay would refund the buyer so nothing really to hate on those scores.

Thank you. I was just worried as according to the simply dilevery tracking code the item did not 'arrive', the whole £60 would be refunded to the buyer automatically after 30 days (even when the buyer did not open a case). Glad to know this automation would not happen, right ? Thanks

There are no automatic refunds on ebay. There has to be a case opened first.
