Simple delivery

Simple delivery , which it appears is far from simple  and I'm being forced to use .

The old system allowed me to add on a bit to the postage, to allow me to cover a bit of my packaging costs and diesel to the post office .  Now it appears I just get a random price for postage that I cannot alter . I also notice the old system has had a massive price hike to discourage its use and force you to use simple delivery.  Thanks .

The old system is just as it was but now includes royal mails new prices which took effect a few weeks ago

Don’t think eBay have altered it at all

ebay say add the packing to the item price 

all the more to put buyers off and more in ebays coffers as it bumps up the buyer protection fee 

none of this would of happened if they’d not introduced it 

Oh well

It's all very well them saying add packing costs to the price , they now add this buyer protection fee to it , putting our listing prices up . I've lowered a lot of my prices to get sales . Now this . Seriously considering jacking it in .what about some seller protection .

All you can do is use custom delivery it’s  still available now for a week or so 

and charge your own p and p

After that some things will continue to be allowed to go custom 

there’s a whole list on the simple delivery help pages under q and a …which items don’t need to go simple delivery

in ebays world things change by the day these days so you have to go with flow as they say

Not for everyone. The OP may have been moved over already, as I have. It doesn’t seem to be rolling out by category like BPF, but by user.

Ah ok 

I just thought maybe if one of the items they want to list were available with custom eg they have a couple coins for sale they would qualify…maybe they have others then custom should be available according to ebays latest outputs
