Simple Delivery

Like a lot of folk I will also stop selling on eBay. This so called simple delivery is all about greed and not about helping sellers. I like to use our local post office as they are important to out community, something eBay does not care about at all. Also hanging on to my money for 14 days after it has sold must be very close to illegal, its my money not yours eBay.  It used to be such a great place to sell now not so. Forcing sellers to use this 'new' system is wrong and the strength of feeling against it should make eBay sit up and take notice, but they won't because they are greedy and could not care less.

Greedbay:

  • Buyer Protection Fee – a total lie, they are just pocketing the money.
  • Holding private sellers money - earning interest/investing.
  • Simple Delivery - once mandatory ebay will make money on every postage label for every item sold.
  • Hiding listings - ebay are hiding sellers listings so they have to pay to make them visible again.
  • Disabling the invoice facility - buyers are forced to pay BPF on each item so no combining orders now.
  • They make the buyer pay higher postage if a seller only offers one carrier.

'Now, we’re improving delivery so it’s faster, easier, and more secure for you to send your items.'

How is it faster and easier when my Yodel drop off is just 400yds away?

How is it more secure, will parcels not go missing now or left unattended on your doorstep?

I too greatly worry about the future of our local Post Offices once this takes effect. It's going to close down many of  them! What about 'Signed For' and Special Delivery??

"Greedbay" indeed. "Stupidbay" "Don't know the time of daybay".

Ebay are all-out to make life as difficult as possible for sellers and at the same time raking in the higher fees for their so-called "improved service" for both the buyer and seller...what absolute tosh!

If eBay fail to clarify items that will be exempt from SD by the 15th I for one will end my listings until this whole fiasco is sorted...though I will not hold my breath as eBay have the "take it or leave it" attitude.

You need a comma in this sentence since you have two independent clauses.
