Simple Delivery HELP

I am selling a triple vinyl record. I plan to send it royal mail 48 tracked, small parcel, its 1.5kg, it would normally cost £3.39.

Ebays simple delivery doesnt appear to give me an option to customise the dimensions of the package. The lowest applicable weight of 2kg defaults to medium package dimensions and "You'll pay:£4.27"

Almost a pound more expensive, Id rather not pay more than I need to.

I have the item listed using normal custom postage at the moment, but ebay say that from 7th April all existing listings will be switched to Simple Delivery, so I need to sort this now.

How can I get the right postage price?  If I say it is just 1kg will royal mail still take it (it comes to the same price so I dont see why not)

Simple Delivery HELP

If selling vinyl records, you need to be aware that Evri provides no cover or compensation for vinyl records. It is clealry stated in their lengthy list of exceptions.

So, in practice, you can only accept Royal Mail. By excluding Evri, your shipping price offered to your buyers goes up even higher, but your alternative is to take the gamble that Evri will never damage or lose one of your parcels. Going on their reputation, I think that's unlikely.

Simple Delivery HELP

Hi thanks - I have actually already removed Evri before I asked the above as I dont use them on principal due to they lose too many items. I also dont buy from sellers who use them as I dont have faith I will receive what I have bought 😉

I am also confused by the lack of 'small package' option - is there any answer yet from ebay?
