Sent items still showing awaiting delivery

Hi wondering if someone can help? My husband has sent several vinyl stickers over the past couple of weeks via 2nd class mail. All still show awaiting delivery. As they aren’t tracked I presume that’s why they still show awaiting delivery. Obviously his funds are being held because they’re all “awaiting delivery” even though we know at least 4 have been delivered. What are we supposed to do? How long until eBay release the funds? Like I say they have all been sent 2nd class. Any advice please?

The postal receipts should have delivery confirmation numbers on them (16 digits) which you can enter for each item via the dropdown menu arrow on your sold page and ebay accept them the same as tracking.    Without delivery confirmation payments are held for 14 days.

Hi each item already has the receipt number of the 2nd class that was purchased via eBay. My issue is, once delivered, which a lot of them have been, because they’re not tracked how does eBay know/update to delivered to release the funds? Are we soley waiting on the buyer to hopefully click received (which hardly ever happens).

No tracking you will have to wait 14days clock starts on the last expected date the 14 days after that.

If your husband has a brand new account it will be 21 days could be ;longer but ebay will usually tell you that.

Without postal tracking there is no acceptable way ebay will know that the item have been delivered and the payments will be held for 14 days.    

If you buy postage from your post office, not from ebay, you get the 16 digit delivery confirmation number on the receipt even on standard second class, and that does show delivery online without paying extra for tracking.   You just have to add tracking and mark dispatched manually.

his been selling for years but this is new apparently and changed recently.

So husband said is that 14 days after the last expected date for example if it showed as the 13th to 18th February do we then wait 14days after the 18th? Or is it 14days from dispatch? Sounds like we might have to find another platform if they’re going to start messing around like this
