Royal Mail Collections

For the last two items I have sold on eNay I have selected the Royal Mail Collection Service, purchased a postage label

and booked a

collection.

The items have been collected as expected, but on both occasions I have been contacted by my buyers to say they had to pay £3.50 postage to

colllect the item? This has only been a recent issue.

has anyone else had any issues?

If the buyer has been charged £3.50, it's a surcharge - not a collection charge - because the item's postage is insufficient for the weight or size.

You say you purchased the postage, so I assume it wasn't a managed shipping/simple delivery sale.  Did you weigh/measure the package and check RM's postage tables?
