Hello all ,
Currently I am an selling on an brand new account with less than 1 month activity.
I have posted my orders and most of them are even delivered. Slowly ebay started to process the money for the new orders and start to make them available through payment section. I was able to withdraw 50 quid and today I have tried to withdraw another 400 gbp but suddenly an red flag pop up with message ,,Your payouts are on hold while we conclude a periodic performance review. We will disburse the funds once the review is complete. During this time, you can still continue to sell''.
Did anyone had this ,,issue'' ? And if yes how long took to ebay to do the checks?
Many thanks

It's not an issue it's a security check, and it can happen after a few payments have been successfully withdrawn on a new account.
There is no set time, as each case is checked on its own merit, but general holds up to 30 days is not uncommon.
Carry on selling tracking showing delivery on your items should help quicken the process for release of your items as eBay can then see you are a good eBayer posting items promptly for them to be delivered on time.

Tressygirl's estimate might well be accurate, but as you are a heck of a risk, certainly a wee bit more so than the average new seller, could well take longer.
Whilst I'd normally agree her advice to carry on selling as very sound advice, I'd caution someone with your business model to consider pausing selling until this is resolved.

100% agree. I would expect eBay to do some digging, to ascertain whether the OP has the items in his possession - that looks highly unlikely, as he is quoting at least ten days for delivery (possibly sending from China, although he claims the items are in Luton).
With as many listings as the account has (1373 listings, many of them multi-item listings), that's plenty time to rack up a few sales and disappear. (Not suggesting that is the OP's intention.) I'm sure eBay, if they do allow the seller to continue, will wait as long as they can to be sure there is nothing untoward going on.
I wouldn't rate the OP's chances very highly.

I had this the other day and i'm an established seller so i'd expect this from a new one tbh.
