Ok so I know this has been a question raised many times on the community boards.
But I have now come to believe 100% without any doubt that open cases DO AFFECT SALES.
I started to wonder has I had not made a sale for nearly a week,not even an offer on over 150 BIN /BO items so kept looking at my listings, scratching my head, & looking for a reason why.
I will also add I am not a big time seller, on average have between 150 - 200 listed at any given time.
But out of those I usually sell 1 or 2 items a day & get 3 or 4 offers as well, but since the case opening, not a thing, even the amout of added watchers is far less.
So I thought - "It's just got to have something to do with an open case", but could see no reason as to why, as I have an almost perfect track record & no defects on my account.
So I "Googled" it, & geuss what the same question has been asked time & time & time again, from sellers in almost the exacat same boat as me, in regards to their account standing etc etc.
Now given that in the back of my mind, this also happened to me about 18 months ago ( A case opened & a drop in sales ) coupled both with this time around & the amount of questions raised on the same subject, it's just got to be more than just a coinsidence.
What really gets me this time around is that I was the one that opened the case !!!!!!!
If only I had remembered what had happened 18 months ago & done a quick search beforehand this time around, hindsight is everything !!!.
