Hi all
long story short sold an item and buyer contacts me within a day to ask why the item has not been told. Said it’s packaged up to send today. Responds and states he is very disappointed that I sit on my items for 24 hours and I “can’t be arsed” posting my items. Very aggressive and rude. After him being aggressive I cancelled his order as I was unwilling to deal with him.
buyer has left me negative feedback which I’m sure you can see on here stating I need to grow up which highlights the audacity of the person I was trying to deal with. Question is does any of this go against terms and conditions for feedback? I’ve tried to raise it but it seems to have just sent a message to the seller asking him to rethink his feedback. Which avenue are you supposed to take to contest this?

You should be able to get it removed by citing the bit about personal attacks that could harm the reputation of the seller in the 'Harmful, inappropriate or irrelevant comments' section of eBay's 'Feedback Policy' (see below). It is possible that eBay may decide to only remove the comment and not the negative as, a whole.
Contacting eBay will often have a better result than using eBay's feedback removal tool. You can use the link below to request a callback. Best to do so first thing in the morning so that you get someone from the team in Ireland who are more knowledgeable and have greater authority.
For future reference, it is usually best to try and get the feedback removed first before leaving a follow up comment as it can make removal more difficult.
We remove all feedback that contains any:

I have had people ask to cancel an order a few minutes after buying so sometimes its better to hang on to it for an hour or two to get around this.

adding to the advice already given -
a possible problem is here you say "I “can’t be arsed” posting my items" but in your reply to the neg you say "I “Can’t be bothered” sending my items".

I had the same type of problem last week with neutral feedback.
The customer left a neutral as Royal Mail delivered to his neighbours house and did not put a note through his door to tell him.
A quick phone call to ebay and 2 hrs later the feedback had disappeared.

Hi mandyc0602, thanks for your post.
I see no negative feedback on your profile, so I am presuming you got sorted. However, if you still see the negative feedback from your end, please let me know and I'll take a further look for you no problem.
Thank you,
Marco
