The customer choses just means they chose standard or express delivery whether you post using ebays simple delivery with RM or evri or just one , depending on what you set your postage preferences to
as for weights , yes they guess them via some method ..LOL sometimes..
But it’s up to you to correct it if they think it’s bigger/heavier than it actually is
OR go with their recommendation if it’s underweight and under priced postage wise because here they foot the bill
im not always crystal clear when posting but hope that made some sense
custom postage is better a lot of the time but you can only get it for small value lightweight items
but generally it’s a MESS
and I don’t see them full steam ahead trying to sort much out to be honest
latest debacle is you can’t list anything with custom postage that goes 1st or 2nd class post….the thing is broken though should be working for eligible items NOt required to use simple delivery
