I AM FED UP OF THE GREED OF EBAY AND I HOPE OTHER EBAY SELLERS DECIDE TO NO LONGER LET THE EBAY CONTROL FREAKS HAVE THIS MUCH CONTROL OVER PRIVATE SELLERS.

I was shocked, many VERY bad words indeed, quite funny posts though some of them but also quite sad to hear people feeling genuinely upset by all this and they way they have been treated

Just listing a few stragglers in the hope the listings remain unchanged. Only listing a golf head over, which weighs hardly anything. Usually I'd tick padded envelope (up to 1kg) but the padded envelope has been removed. Makes me wonder if the Simple a delivery is massively erring on the side of caution to cover any issues. Unfortunately can't speak for RM but behind the scenes changes definitely afoot as I throw a few more listings on the fire.

Some funny posts lighten the mood. But you are right about the amounts of different people that have been effected. The vulnerable, the elderly, people who can't get about, people who live in out of the way places, private sellers, buyers, small business sellers and many others.

One thing I'm noticing is a lot of people saying that following a higher priced sale they are finding their payments put on hold because "further verification of their identity" is needed. It doesn't happen when they have next to nothing to come. It's always after a larger sale. Then if eBay don't accept their documents (for whatever reason), that money is held. It's apparently happening to people even if they've been with eBay for 10 or 15 years. So that is very odd.

There could be a plausible explanation for this process, but it seems suspect when it always seems to come after a higher priced sale. On one post I saw that the guy was out of pocket by £800. I don't know if they release the money in the end, but he's had his money tied up for something like 5 months.

I saw that post too. But as a private seller who only sells things from my personal collection that aren't high value I've got no intention of giving my N I number to a platform for buying and selling.

I am looking forward to tomorrow to see how many complaints appear on here from people who have not been aware of SD .I had quite a few saved sellers and when I click on them they have gone not got anything for sale .
