I AM FED UP OF THE GREED OF EBAY AND I HOPE OTHER EBAY SELLERS DECIDE TO NO LONGER LET THE EBAY CONTROL FREAKS HAVE THIS MUCH CONTROL OVER PRIVATE SELLERS.

Yes funny in a way but knowing they have my bank details and we can't escape from here for possibly 6 months. Will close account when last money comes in on 8th but they still won't let me go 14 days - 6 months i read ..this is it it's gone now. The whole site is seriously messed up

It is scary. I asked once if I stopped selling could I remove certain info they have. They said no unless I closed this user account and opened a new one.

Just went to list a low value item on family members account £6.99 then went to advanced setting to select own large letter postage and no where was there a box for weight despite previous listing having 1kg as a default. This wasnt carried forward for me to change to 100g which is applicable. How then can the little AI bot scuttle along and exempt the listing from SD? How will they police the situation if the item with large letter and some stiffeners sneaks past 100g? Simple?? ha

They will keep it for the tax man and anyone else who wants it probably. We are tied to a very dangerous place

The time frame they've given is absolutely ridiculous. So not only do they want to hold your money for as long as possible they want to hold your info for as long as possible. What a shambles.

The nightmare thing is that it hasn't even kicked in properly yet. This SD farce is really becoming a nightmare.

And then when they decide to they'll sell what info they can get away with to any of these companies that want to buy info like phone numbers etc.

I'm going to keep the minimum in my account now that Ebay have details of may even close it in the future

My saving grace is having 2 accounts with 2 places and 1 of them I've never added onto here.

Yes i have another that was the joint account and is now mine might transfer more into that. This site is in freefall never know what will happen next , it's in deep trouble and i want out

I totally agree. Especially with all these policy changes like holding money and these new draconian policies. I think all of these changes will start people thinking of this platform in a different light.
