How do I delete this community forum profile?

How do I delete this community forum profile? I no longer want to be a part of it.

I know this isn't the right place for this post. But I can't find a way to delete it and I can't find a way to find out any information. So, this will have to do.

Yes, I could simply log out. But that means I might be tempted to come back. I don't want to come back. I want it deleted.

I want to keep my eBay account in case I ever want to buy anything in the future. So, I only want the forum profile gone.

OK, ignore my previous post.

The community boards only require an eBay account; community profiles are just eBay user profiles. You could edit your operating system's hosts file by adding the following line:

127.0.0.1 community.ebay.co.uk

That would mean trying to access the boards on the device concerned would result in a connection failure (the rest of eBay would still work). Of course, you would also need to forget how you prevented access in the first place and you would need do this on every device you access the boards from.

You could also do something so heinous that you get a permanent ban from the boards.

There isn't such a thing as a profile solely for the eBay forums, it's your eBay ID being used, there isn't a way to delete it without closing your eBay account. 

EDIT TO ADD: Just seen @4_bathrooms post, you could try blocking yourself.

It should be simple to delete, but as we all know eBay doesn't like anything to be simple.

What an ugly mess of a platform. It feels like it's run by one person. It's not professional.

It gets worse and worse every day. It's actually become a source of entertainment.

I've ended my listings. I've stopped buying here. So, it can all turn to 💩 for all I care. LOL
