Hello everyone. I'm a bit confused at the moment. Until recently I have been getting my money from sales no problem, waiting 14 days for the money to hit my balance (which I hate, why did they change it?).
Everything was fine until a few days ago. I was given the date (April 23) when my money would hit my balance but nothing showed up. Spoke to Ebay, was reassured, two days later still no money. Then only today I was expecting another payout, nothing (not huge amounts, £14 in total for the two items, £7 each). Instead I only had £2.38 in my balance.
Spoke to Ebay again, got passed through to someone with more knowledge of the situation (in the UK I think), and was told the first payout of £7 I already got and the rest has been eaten up with fees. The thing is, I really don't think I got the first £7 and I don't understand what fees have eaten up my £14 overall as it shows what fees are taken in your profile when the item is sold (in this case buyer protection fees, that's it).
So basically I feel like I haven't been paid for one item and only gotten a tiny amount for a second item. I have a few more items with payments to come over the next few weeks and now I'm concerned I'm not gonna get the right amounts that I'm shown in my account. I don't understand what's happened, everything was fine until about 3 days ago with this one item and now today with another.
Surely all fees are shown when an item sells and the final amount shown is what I should be getting? Also, why did Ebay make this change as its horrendous and was FAR better before (you got the money almost immediately and could transfer it to your bank whenever you were ready).
