DHL not always needed

HAVING HAD ISSUES WITH DHL measure your parcel first. Here is an example where eBay directed me to DHL because the item is longer than 61cm.
eBay have listed measurements for EVRI as if you were sending it Royal Mail. This will push the parcel  into DHL.
Go to the EVRI website and read the instructions as here:
"Add together the 2 shortest sides and multiply it by 2. Add the length. If the total is less than 245cm you are good to go."
Our parcel is 4kg 187cm. 65cm x 49cm x 12cm. which pushes it into DHL.
Ask your buyer NOT to choose Royal Mail with these measurements as it will automatically go to DHL. It is so frustrating when eBay list EVRI measurements as if it were a Royal Mail parcel.

Re: DHL not always needed

There has been a new addition of a courier service,  DHL,   which came in recently under Simple Delivery for Private sellers, that is,  items over 61cm long,  DHL is now the available courier for those items.
